The Ghost Brigades is the sequal to Old Mans War, a book I read 3-4 years ago.

The Ghost Brigades occurs some years after Old Mans War but you can read the book without having read Old Mans War and still enjoy it.

My summary of Ghost Brigades is what would happen if we inserted someone else’s memory into yours? What would happen? This is wrapped in intersteller War plot with Humans and Aliens.

I feel like The Ghost Brigades like Old Mans War is just a little too shallow. Its willing to hint at the deeper problems of identity and war but its just unwilling to really accept the challenges that these topics bring to its main characters.

For being so close yet still so far I give the book 3/5. Its not bad to read, its just not great.
