The family and I had a really nice trip to St. Louis MO to see the eclipse.

We saw the eclipse from the Veterns park in the small town of Union Missouri. Which had just enough people to enjoy the eclipse with but not so many that it felt crowded.

Seeing the total eclipse was truely a unique experience. What you don’t realize is how bright the sun is. At 99.9% ecplise the sun is still extremely bright and will easily burn holes in your eye’s retina. But the moment things transition from 99.9% eclipse to total is very astonishing.

I made my 12 year old daughter go see the eclipse. I don’t believe she was particularly excited about going. When we got back she painted a picture of what she had saw and hung it on the wall in her room. To me this indicated that the viewing was pretty impressive.

Will the world end shortly?	Likely not…
